Argentina pone en marcha su Programa de Ciudadanía por Inversión

El Gobierno argentino anunció oficialmente la puesta en marcha del Programa de Ciudadanía por Inversión, una nueva alternativa para inversores extranjeros interesados en obtener la ciudadanía argentina.
El programa comenzará a recibir solicitudes durante el cuarto trimestre de 2026 y contempla dos alternativas para el solicitante principal:
🔹 USD 350.000 mediante un aporte no reembolsable al Tesoro Nacional.
🔹 USD 800.000 mediante la suscripción de un título público creado específicamente para el programa.
También se contempla la incorporación de determinados familiares, con aportes adicionales según cada categoría.
La obtención de la ciudadanía estará sujeta a un proceso de evaluación y debida diligencia, que incluirá, entre otros aspectos, el análisis del origen y trazabilidad de los fondos, situación patrimonial, antecedentes, riesgo jurisdiccional e historial migratorio.
La Agencia de Programas de Ciudadanía por Inversión evaluará cada solicitud y elevará su recomendación a la Dirección Nacional de Migraciones, que tendrá a su cargo la decisión final.
Se trata de una nueva herramienta de planificación migratoria y de inversión que abre interesantes alternativas para inversores extranjeros y sus familias.

Argentina is launching its Citizenship by Investment Program

The Argentine Government has officially announced the launch of the Citizenship by Investment Program, a new alternative for foreign investors interested in obtaining Argentine citizenship.
The program will begin accepting applications during the fourth quarter of 2026 and provides two alternatives for the primary applicant:
🔹 USD 350,000 through a non-refundable contribution to the National Treasury.
🔹 USD 800,000 through the subscription of a public bond created specifically for the program.
The inclusion of certain family members is also permitted, subject to additional contributions depending on each category.
Obtaining citizenship will be subject to an evaluation and due diligence process, which will include, among other aspects, the analysis of the origin and traceability of funds, financial situation, background, jurisdictional risk, and immigration history.
The Citizenship by Investment Program Agency will evaluate each application and submit its recommendation to the National Directorate of Migration, which will be responsible for the final decision.
This is a new immigration and investment planning tool that opens up interesting alternatives for foreign investors and their families.
